Nikolay Mikhaylov

In 2004 Nikolay Mikhaylov graduated with distinction from the Nizhny Novgorod State Technical University, the Faculty of Informational Systems and Technologies, receiving his M.S. in Telecommunications.

In the MeraLabs company he is the leader of the Cognitive Internet Project. Within the frames of this project, Nikolay deals with the research and development of new electronic device communication principles and models for the Internet, the overall architecture of solutions and protocol stacks, as well as the questions of applying developed technologies in the next generation wireless communication systems, new enhanced architecture for the Internet of the Future and the Digital Home.

The area of Nikolay’s professional interests includes: Distributed, Grid and Pervasive Computing, Context-Aware Systems, Multi-Agent Systems, Telecommunications and Artificial Intelligence.
